Job Description

We are partnering with a local law firm that is looking to add a Litigation Legal Assistant to their team!

Pay: $75,000-$$77,000

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to litigation attorneys.
  • Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Perform electronic filing (e-filing) in Florida state courts and federal courts.
  • Manage attorney calendars, including hearings, deadlines, appointments, and court-related dates.
  • Track litigation deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Assist with document production, including compiling exhibits and assembling filing packages.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical case files.
  • Enter and review attorney billing, time entries, and related administrative tasks.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and internal staff.
  • Handle general administrative duties such as scheduling, copying, scanning, and mail processing.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of litigation legal assistant experience in a law firm environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Federal Court procedures.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in electronic filing in state and federal courts.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting a team of attorneys.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
